Stop Boot Defragment

Now the user of Windows XP can stop Boot Defragment while starting computer. For starting or stopping Boot Defragment follow the given step:

1.      Go to start menu

2.      Select Run option

3.      Type regedit and press Enter Now you will see Registry Editor Window.

4.      Then Click plus sign (+) on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder.

5.      Now Click SOFTWARE → Microsoft →Dfrag folder respectively.

6.      Then double click on the BootOptimizeFunction.

7.      Double Click on Enable Name to see Edit String window.

8.       Type Y to start and N to stop Boot Defragment.
